AS/400 Enterprise Option Configuration Trace Levels for the AS/400 Enterprise Option Occasionally, based on instructions from Computer Associates Technical Support, you may need to change the level of activity that is logged for the AS/400 Enterprise Option. Because tracing levels can affect backup performance, do not change the values unless you receive specific instructions from Computer Associates Technical Support. The following table shows all of the AS/400 Enterprise Option trace levels: Level ASO$TRACE ASO$TRACE_AST ASO$TRACE_IDENT ASO$TRACE_DATA Description This controls the trace depth of the client agent. Valid values are -1 and 0 to 0xFFFFFFFF. Setting the ASO$TRACE value to -1 logs the most detail. This is a toggle. If defined, Asynchronous System Traps (ASTs) are traced. This is a formatting parameter. The recommended value is between 0 and 5. The default is 3. This controls the number of bytes in each packet that is logged. The range is unlimited and starts at 0. The following table shows all of the AS/400 Enterprise Option trace levels:

ASO$TRACE
This controls the trace depth of the client agent.
Valid values are -1 and 0 to 0xFFFFFFFF. Setting
