Prerequisites 1 Remove the base cover. 2 Remove the battery. 3 Remove the wireless card. 4 Remove the solid-state drive (in SSD1 slot). 5 Remove the rear-I/O cover. Procedure 1 Using the pull tab, disconnect the hard-drive cable. 2 Remove the hard-drive cable from the routing guides on the computer base. 3 Disconnect the tobii cable from the system board. 4 Remove the antenna cables from the routing guides on the computer base. 5 Peel off the tobii cable from the system board. 6 Remove the screw (M2x3) that secures the display-cable bracket on the system board. 7 Lift the display-cable bracket off the system board. 8 Using the pull tab, disconnect the display cable from the system board. 9 Disconnect the camera cable from the system board. 57

Prerequisites

Remove the
base cover
.

Remove the
battery
.
3
Remove the
wireless card
.
4
Remove the
solid-state drive
(in SSD1 slot).

Remove the
rear-I/O cover

Procedure
1
Using the pull tab, disconnect the hard-drive cable.
2
Remove the hard-drive cable from the routing guides on the computer base.

Disconnect the tobii cable from the system board.
4
Remove the antenna cables from the routing guides on the computer base.

Peel off the tobii cable from the system board.
6
Remove the screw (M2x3) that secures the display-cable bracket on the system board.
7
Lift the display-cable bracket off the system board.
8
Using the pull tab, disconnect the display cable from the system board.
9
Disconnect the camera cable from the system board.
