Prerequisites 1 Remove the base cover. 2 Remove the battery. 3 Remove the wireless card. 4 Remove the solid-state drive (in SSD1 slot). 5 Remove the rear-I/O cover. 6 Remove the computer base. 7 Remove the heat-sink assembly. Procedure 1 Disconnect the graphics-card power cable from the system board. 2 Disconnect the graphics-card power cable from the graphics card. 3 Remove the two screws (M2x3) that secure the two graphics-card cable to the graphics card. 4 Remove the three screws (M2x3) that secure the graphics card to the system board. 72

Prerequisites

Remove the
base cover

Procedure

Disconnect the graphics-card power cable from the system board.
