Figure 66. Removing the keyboard Steps 1. Open the latch and disconnect the keyboard cable from the touchpad. 2. Open the latch and disconnect the keyboard-backlight cable from the touchpad. 3. Remove the twenty-one screws (M2x2) that secure the keyboard bracket to the palm-rest assembly. 4. Lift the keyboard bracket off the palm-rest assembly. 5. Turn the keyboard bracket over. 6. Remove the ten screws (M2x2) that secure the keyboard to the keyboard bracket. 7. Lift the keyboard off the keyboard bracket.
