Figure 66. Removing the keyboard Steps 1. Open the latch and disconnect the keyboard cable from the touchpad. 2. Open the latch and disconnect the keyboard-backlight cable from the touchpad. 3. Remove the twenty-one screws (M2x2) that secure the keyboard bracket to the palm-rest assembly. 4. Lift the keyboard bracket off the palm-rest assembly. 5. Turn the keyboard bracket over. 6. Remove the ten screws (M2x2) that secure the keyboard to the keyboard bracket. 7. Lift the keyboard off the keyboard bracket. Steps
1.
Open the latch and disconnect the keyboard cable from the touchpad.
2.
Open the latch and disconnect the keyboard-backlight cable from the touchpad.
3.
Remove the twenty-one screws (M2x2) that secure the keyboard bracket to the palm-rest assembly.
4.
Lift the keyboard bracket off the palm-rest assembly.
5.
Turn the keyboard bracket over.
6.
Remove the ten screws (M2x2) that secure the keyboard to the keyboard bracket.
7.
Lift the keyboard off the keyboard bracket.
