Prerequisites If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation process. About this task The following images indicate the location of the battery and provide a visual representation of the installation procedure. Figure 36. Installing the battery Steps 1. Align and route the battery cable through the routing guides on the battery. 2. Adhere the tape that secures the battery cable to the battery. 3.
