About this task The following images indicate the location of the fingerprint reader and provide a visual representation of the installation procedure. Figure 95. Installing the fingerprint reader Steps 1. Align and place the fingerprint reader on its slot on the palm-rest assembly. 2. Slide the fingerprint-reader bracket on its slot on the palm-rest assembly. 3. Replace the screw (M2x3) that secures the fingerprint reader to the palm-rest assembly. 4. Connect the fingerprint-reader cable to the connector on the USH board and close the latch. Next steps 1. Install the assembly-inner frame. 2. Install the battery. 3. Install the base cover. 4.
