Disconnect the battery cable from the battery cable connector (BATT1) on the system board (if not disconnected earlier). 2. Loosen the five captive screws (M2x4) that secure the battery to the palm-rest assembly. 3. Lift the battery off the palm-rest assembly. 4. Flip the battery and peel the tape that adheres the battery cable to the battery. 5. Remove the battery cable from the routing guides on the battery. 6. Steps
1.
Disconnect the battery cable from the battery cable connector (BATT1) on the system board (if not disconnected earlier).
2.
Loosen the five captive screws (M2x4) that secure the battery to the palm-rest assembly.
3.
Lift the battery off the palm-rest assembly.
4.
Flip the battery and peel the tape that adheres the battery cable to the battery.
5.
Remove the battery cable from the routing guides on the battery.
6.
Disconnect the battery cable from the connector on the battery.
