A Note About Performance Dell OpenManage Network Manager is designed to help you manage your network with alacrity. Unfortunately, the devices managed or the networks that communicate with those devices are not always as fast as this software. If discovery takes a long time (it can), often network and device latency is the culprit. You can also optimize installations to be faster (see the recommendations in the Administration Section of the User Guide and Administration Sections), and limit device queries with filters, but device and network latency limit how quickly your system can respond. Tip If you use management systems other than this one, you must perform a device level resync before performing configuration actions.
