Advertising Services Version 1.3  SMS. Materials can be assigned a name, description, start date, end date and enabled or disabled. The type of an advertising material can be a text, image, Flash, raw HTML, YouTube or SMS text advertisement. Materials can also be assigned any number of labels, which can be used by promotions to create labelled promotions and to provide intelligent delivery of advertisements. 4.5.2.1 General Properties The General Properties section allows you to configure a meaningful name for your advertising material, whether the material is enabled or disabled, an optional start and end date during which the material can delivered, a description with which to record any other relevant information associated with your material, any number of labels to apply to this material, and the type of this material. Name: The name of the advertising material. Use this field to provide a meaningful name for the material so that you are able to identify it later.  BEST PRACTICE Name all of your materials in a consistent manner. This will make it easier to organize and locate them. Enabled: Enables or disables delivery of this advertisement. If an advertising material is disabled, it will not be delivered. To enable delivery of this advertisement, ensure that this checkbox is ticked. Start Date: An optional date after which the material may start being delivered. To specify a start date, you may either enter a date in the text field, or click the associated button (...) and select a date. You may also specify a time with the date. If you want your material to start being delivered immediately, leave this field blank. 108
