Advertising Services Version 1.3 the process can become tedious and frustrating, and can result in dissatisfaction with the service. By limiting the delivery of video advertisements to just one or two key stages of the process, you can significantly improve the user's experience and their positive perception of the service. Even if the service is free, this is still an important consideration to make. In the example given here, you will disable the delivery of video on all guest self-registration pages except login. You can repeat this process for any other page groups (§4.1) that you may have. To disable video on all of the default Guest Self-Registration pages: 1. Navigate to the advertising pages list (Advertising Services » Pages). 2. Select the Guest Self-Registration page from the list; an action row will be shown. 3. Click the Edit link; the space editor will be shown. Change the following settings in the Space Options section: 4. Select the Denied Spaces Policy dropdown and choose the Deny advertising in... option. 5. In the Denied Spaces list, click the Add a denied space link; a row will be added to the list containing a dropdown. 6. Select the new dropdown and choose the Page Interstitial (built-in) option. 7. In the Denied Spaces list, click on the row, but not on the dropdown; an action row will be shown. 8. Click the Insert After action link; a new row will be inserted with a new dropdown. 9. Select the new dropdown and choose the Mobile Page Interstitial (built-in) option. And then: 10. Review your settings and ensure they are as directed. 11. Click the Save and Reload button; your changes will be saved and the page editor form reloaded. At this stage the interstitial advertising spaces used to deliver video have been denied for all of the pages in the Guest Self-Registration page group. 57
