Advertising Services Version 1.3 4.3.1.7 Copy an advertising campaign If you want to create a new campaign that is similar to one that you already have, you can simply make a copy. To copy an advertising campaign: 1. Navigate to the advertising campaigns list (Advertising Services » Campaigns). 2. Select the relevant campaign from the list; an action row will be shown. 3. Click the Copy link; the campaign editor will be shown. 4. Review the settings and make any changes as necessary. NOTE 5. Click the Create button or the Create and Reload button. Details on how to use the campaign editor are given in section 4.3.2 below. 4.3.2 Campaign Editor An advertising campaign defines which promotions and materials are to be delivered and at what stages they are to be delivered. Advertising Services supports delivering advertisements at the following stages:  With login  With registration  With receipt  With self-service  After login  With SMS receipt A campaign can be given a name and a description to help identify and manage it. You can rank and weight a campaign to balance it against other campaigns. A campaign can also be configured to operate between a specified start and end date. 4.3.2.1 General Properties The General Properties section allows you to configure a meaningful name for your advertising campaign, whether the campaign is enabled or disabled, an optional start and end date during which the campaign is to run, a relative rank and weight to balance delivery of this campaign with other campaigns, and a description with which to record any other relevant information associated with your campaign. Name: The name of the advertising campaign. Use this field to provide a meaningful name for the campaign so that you are able to identify it later. 86
