Advertising Services Version 1.3 4.2.3 The nwa_adspace Smarty Template tag NOTE Use of the nwa_adspace Smarty Template tag is for advanced users. You need to understand HTML and Smarty Templates to be able to use it correctly. NOTE Refer to the amigopod Deployment Guide for more information about Smarty Templates and HTML. The nwa_adspace tag can placed into HTML fields that: 1. Support Smarty Template evaluation, and 2. Belong to pages that support advertising. NOTE To see which pages support advertising, navigate to the pages list (Advertising Services » Pages), which is also described in section 4.1.1 above. The nwa_adspace tag supports the following parameters: location: The value of the Location field that must be set for an advertising space to be matched by location. IMPORTANT You must specify either a location or a name. The nwa_adspace tag will emit an error if you do not specify at least one of these parameters. If a location parameter is specified, then the value of the location parameter will be compared to the Location field of each advertising space (§4.2.2.1). If the values match, then advertisements will be delivered, at the point in the HTML where the nwa_adspace tag is defined, according to any constraints defined by the advertising space. NOTE To see which Location value that a space uses, review the Location column in the spaces list (Advertising Services » Spaces), which is also described in section 4.2.1 above. Advertising spaces support a number of preset Location options as well as custom locations via the Other Location field. The nwa_adspace Smarty Template tag

The
nwa_adspace
tag can placed into HTML fields that:
1.
Support Smarty Template evaluation, and
2.
Belong to pages that support advertising.
NOTE
To see which pages support advertising, navigate to the pages list
(Advertising Services » Pages), which is also described in section 4.1.1
above.
The
nwa_adspace
tag supports the following parameters:
location:
The value of the
Location
field that must be set for
an advertising
space
to be matched by location.
IMPORTANT

nwa_adspace
tag will
