Follow the procedure listed in Before working inside your system. 3. Remove the air shroud or remove the GPU air shroud. 4. Remove the liquid cooling module. 5. NOTE: Installing the processor to Direct Liquid Cooling (DLC) module is the same as processor and heat sink module (PHM). Steps 1. Place the processor in the processor tray. NOTE: Ensure the pin 1 indicator on the processor tray is aligned with the pin 1 indicator on the processor. 2. Place the retaining clip on top of the processor in the processor tray aligning pin 1 indicator on the processor. NOTE: Ensure the pin 1 indicator on the retaining clip is aligned with the pin 1 indicator on the processor before placing the retaining clip on the processor. NOTE: Before you install the DLC module, ensure to place the processor and retaining clip in the tray. Installing and removing system components 193
