These routes require double the key size in the Longest prefix match (LPM) table. You can configure the number of route entries for extended prefix using the hardware l3 ipv6-extended-prefix prefixnumber command. Save and Reload the switch for the settings to become effective. Configure IPv6 extended prefix route OS10# configure terminal OS10(config)# hardware l3 ipv6-extended-prefix 2048 % Warning: IPv6 Extended Prefix Installation will be applied only after a save and reload. Save and Reload the switch to remove the configuration. OS10(config)# no hardware l3 ipv6-extended-prefix % Warning: Un-configuring IPv6 Extended Prefix will be applied only after a save and reload.
