NOTE: Dell recommends that only a technically knowledgeable person perform this procedure. Press the SEC cartridge release latches inward until they snap into position. Pull the terminator card straight out to remove it from the connector. Unscrew and remove the two large thumbscrews that secure the heat sink to the system board. Press the SEC cartridge release latches inward until they snap into position. Grasp the SEC cartridge assembly firmly, and pull it away from the guide bracket assembly (see Figure 9-8).
