Using Advanced Settings For maximum control over your project, you can customize your print settings-such as Print Quality and Gamma-and use special effects. You can also improve the clarity of low-resolution images (under 100 dpi) by selecting the Edge Smoothing box on the Advanced dialog box. This setting is recommended for printing documents in PDF format, images downloaded from the Web, or posters that have been enlarged. For digital camera images, use Digital Camera Correction instead. Edge Smoothing does not affect high resolution images. 18
