4.7 Saving the Scanned Data to a Network Folder 4. Press the [OK] button. ⇒ This returns you to the "Save" screen. User authentication may sometimes be required to access the file server. HINT If authentication is required, the "Folder Server Authentication" screen appears. The authentication procedure is as follows. 1. Enter a "User Name" and "Password" for the file server. Regular User Operations 4 2. Press the [OK] button. 5. In the "Save as:" field, enter a file name for the scanned data to be saved. File names may be up to 128 characters long. By default, "Scanner Name" + "Scan Date/Time" is entered.
