print carriage stalls When the print carriage stalls, the following display appears on the LCD panel. Follow these steps to fix a carriage stall. 1. Press the Resume button. 2. If the carriage is still stalled, press the Cancel button. 3. If the carriage is still stalled, open the front door, then open the top door. 4. Verify that the ink cartridges are installed correctly. If a cartridge is not securely seated in the print carriage, remove it, then reinstall it. For instructions on installing print cartridges, see replacing ink cartridges. 5. Remove any paper you see in the printer. 6. Close the top door, then close the front door. 7. If the printer still does not print, then press the Cancel button, turn off the printer, turn it back on, then resend your document. 126
