local connection Follow these steps if the printer encounters a communication problem over a local connection: 1. Verify that all cables are firmly attached to the printer and the computer. • If you are not using a USB connection, verify that the parallel cable adapter is firmly attached to the printer. Verify that the parallel adapter is firmly attached to the parallel adapter. • If you are using a USB connection, verify that the USB cable is firmly attached to the printer and the computer. 2. Press the Cancel button to cancel the print job. 3. Resend your document. 152
