Speakers Description Spare part number Left speaker for use in models without WWAN (includes Mylar screw/POGO cover, bottom thermal Mylar, L14786-001 side thermal Mylar, and thermal grease) Left speaker for use in models with WWAN (includes WWAN antenna, Mylar screw/POGO cover, bottom thermal Mylar, side thermal Mylar, and thermal grease) L14768-001 Right speaker for use in models without WWAN (includes Mylar screw/POGO cover, bottom thermal Mylar, side thermal Mylar, and thermal grease) L14785-001 Right speaker for use in models with WWAN (includes WWAN antenna, Mylar screw/POGO cover, bottom L14767-001 thermal Mylar, side thermal Mylar, and thermal grease) Before removing the speakers, follow these steps: 1. Shut down the tablet. If you are unsure whether the tablet is off or in Hibernation, turn the tablet on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the tablet. 3. Disconnect the power from the tablet by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet, and then unplugging the AC adapter from the tablet. 4. Remove the display panel assembly (see Display assembly on page 32), and then remove the following components: a. Mylar shield (see Mylar shield (WWAN models only) on page 37) b. Battery (see Battery on page 40) c. Thermal solution (see Thermal solution on page 38) d. Solid-state drive (see Solid-state drive on page 42) e. WWAN module (if applicable) (see WWAN module (select models only) on page 44) f. System board (see System board on page 61) g. WLAN antennas (see WLAN antennas on page 65) Remove the speakers: 1. Remove the two Phillips M1.5×2.5 screws (1) that secure the speakers to the tablet. 2. On models with a WWAN module, peel the WWAN antennas that are secured to each speaker (2). 3.
