Spare part number 739563-xx1 Before removing the keyboard, follow these steps: 1. Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer. 3. Disconnect all external devices from the computer. 4. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 35). 5. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 41). 6. Remove the memory module (see Memory module on page 44). Remove the keyboard: 1. Loosen the 2 captive Phillips screws that secure the keyboard to the computer. 2. Before removing the keyboard, follow these steps:

Remove the keyboard:
1.
Loosen the 2 captive Phillips screws that secure the keyboard to the computer.
2.
Release and disconnect the following connectors and cables:
Release the keyboard connector
