2 Installation procedures It explains the installation procedure. NOTE: Before installing, check that the press is properly leveled and aligned. Poor leveling and alignment will lead to false detections by the splice detector. The splice detection assembly is installed in the press bridge that is between the ILP (if installed) and the engine input, or between the unwinder (if ILP not installed) and the engine input: 1 Engine input 2 ILP 3 Unwinder 4 Press bridge Preliminary steps Follow these steps for preliminary steps. 1. NOTE:
Before installing, check that the press is properly leveled and aligned. Poor leveling and
alignment will lead to false detections by the splice detector.
The splice detection assembly is installed in the press bridge that is between the ILP (if installed) and the
engine input, or between the unwinder (if ILP not installed) and the engine input:
