Copy the following files from the HP NetServer Navigator CD: Files to copy from the Navigator CD: \UTIL\PCA32\US\HPEXTN\pca.scr \UTIL\PCA32\US\HPEXTN\hpspkey.scr \UTIL\PCA32\US\HPEXTN\hpintkey.scr \UTIL\PCA32\US\HPEXTN\raclient.osf \UTIL\PCA32\US\HPEXTN\extnd.mk7 For Windows 95 and 98, copy the files to: C:\Windows\All Users\Application Data\Symantec\pcAnywhere For Windows NT, copy the files to: C:\Winnt\Profiles\All Users\Application Data\Symantec\pcAnywhere For Windows 2000, copy the files to: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Symantec\pcAnywhere NOTE If Windows is not installed on drive "C", substitute "C" for the drive where windows is installed. 6. Change the attribute of these files from read only to read and write. Now run pcAnywhere. 7. Restart Windows. Run pcAnywhere located under Programs from the Start menu. 49

Choose "Typical" install and follow the on-screen instructions to complete
installation of pcAnywhere.
4.
Go to \UTIL\PCA32\US\HPEXTN directory on the
HP NetServer
Navigator CD
and double click on the file "HPPCA.REG".
This will
create three new registry entries under the OnlineService Key under
pcANYWHERE\CurrentVersion.
5.
Copy the following files from the
HP NetServer Navigator CD
:
Files to copy from the Navigator CD:
\UTIL\PCA32\US\HPEXTN\pca.scr
\UTIL\PCA32\US\HPEXTN\hpspkey.scr
\UTIL\PCA32\US\HPEXTN\hpintkey.scr
\UTIL\PCA32\US\HPEXTN\raclient.osf
\UTIL\PCA32\US\HPEXTN\extnd.mk7
For Windows 95 and 98, copy the files to:
C:\Windows\All Users\Application
Data\Symantec\pcAnywhere
For Windows NT, copy the files to:
C:\Winnt\Profiles\All Users\Application
Data\Symantec\pcAnywhere
For Windows 2000, copy the files to:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application
Data\Symantec\pcAnywhere
NOTE
If Windows is not installed on drive "C", substitute "C" for the
drive where windows is installed.
6.
Change the attribute of these files from read only to read and write.
Now run pcAnywhere.
7.
Restart Windows. Run pcAnywhere located under
Programs
from the
Start
menu.
