Chapter 6 Using Integrated RA to Manage Server Operations Changing Administrator Data (Add, Delete, Modify) If you enter the number of an administrator record to modify, Integrated RA prompts you for the password for that user. You will then see a list of administrator details to modify. (You can add a new administrator by overwriting the data for an existing user, or by entering a number in an empty record.) To delete an administrator record, type the number of the administrator. Enter the password. Then type the - key. Toggling to Enable/Disable a Pager Type / to toggle the administrator's pager on or off. Integrated RA prompts you for the user number for which you want to enable or disable paging. Type a user number and press Enter. Integrated RA enables or disables the administrator's pager for that site, depending on the current state of the toggle. A "+" indicates an enabled Numeric pager. TAP Settings TAP pager settings include the TAP Frame settings. These are modem communication parameters that include data (7 or 8 bits), parity (odd, even or none) and stop bits (1 or 2). The default "7e1" represents 7 data bits, even parity and 1 stop bit and is supported by most pager services. (For other details regarding TAP pager settings, see the section "Entering a TAP Pager Number" in Chapter 3.) 68
