Returns you to the Integrated RA Main menu. NOTE If the modem is occupied by a remote connection and the message "ALERT PENDING" appears in the Main menu, an event has occurred for which Integrated RA will not send a pager notification. However, the event will appear in the log of events as having been paged. When an event such as a high temperature reading occurs, Integrated RA automatically disables the monitoring process for that event so that duplicate pages aren't sent and the log doesn't fill with duplicate event reports. Sensors are automatically rearmed when the event condition returns to the normal range. Viewing the Last Screen Saved Upon ASR Integrated RA automatically captures a snapshot of the server's display screen upon an ASR event (refer to Chapter 2 for a description of ASR--Automatic Server Restart), allowing you to review an error message that might have appeared on the server's display prior to a restart. Integrated RA also saves the cursor position and video mode of the screen in the snapshot. At the Integrated RA Main menu, type the number 2 to display the last ASR screen. Integrated RA displays the last screen displayed before restart. NOTE If the server's display was in graphics mode when the NOS hung, it cannot be captured and will not be available for viewing from the remote client. If no ASR event occurred since the Integrated RA was powered on, Integrated RA will inform you that no captured screen is available for viewing. After viewing the captured screen, press the space bar to return to the Event Log. NOTE Screen captures are stored in volatile memory. Any saved screen is lost if the NetServer is unplugged or the Integrated RA firmware is updated. 58

If the modem is occupied by a remote connection and the
message "ALERT PENDING" appears in the Main menu, an
event has occurred for which Integrated RA will
not
send a
pager notification. However, the event will appear in the log of

automatically disables the monitoring process for that event so that duplicate pages
aren't sent and the log doesn't fill with duplicate event reports. Sensors are
automatically rearmed when the event condition returns to the normal range.
Viewing the Last Screen Saved Upon ASR
Integrated RA automatically captures a snapshot of the server's display screen
upon an ASR event (refer to Chapter 2 for a description of ASR--Automatic
Server Restart), allowing you to review an error message that might have appeared
on the server's display prior to a restart. Integrated RA also saves the cursor
position and video mode of the screen in the snapshot.
At the Integrated RA Main menu, type the number 2 to display the last ASR
screen. Integrated RA displays the last screen displayed before restart.
NOTE
If the server's display was in graphics mode when the NOS
hung, it cannot be captured and will not be available for
viewing from the remote client.
If no ASR event occurred since the Integrated RA was powered on, Integrated RA
will inform you that no captured screen is available for viewing.
After viewing the captured screen, press the space bar to return to the Event Log.
NOTE
Screen captures are stored in volatile memory. Any saved
screen is lost if the NetServer is unplugged or the Integrated
RA firmware is updated.
