The HCRX/VME graphics is set up as the default display and console device and the onboard graphics is set up as the secondary display device. a. Log in as root. b. Enter the following command line to create a device file to support the HCRX/VME graphics adapter: /etc/mknod /dev/new_device_name c 12 0x000000 Enter Where new_device_name can be any name that doesn't already exist in the /dev directory. This command allows the operating system to recognize the new graphics device. c. Enter the following command line to set the attributes of the device file: chmod 666 /dev/new_device_name Enter d.
