Virtual Serial Port The Virtual Serial Port option assigns the logical COM Port number and associated default resources used by the Virtual Serial Port. When enabled, the option provides remote access through the iLO management controller to BIOS Serial Console. Optional LPT Mode Support The Optional LPT Mode Support option assigns the local port number and associated default resources to the selected physical LPT. The menu includes the following options: • SPP Extended • EPP 1.9 • ECP w/EPP The OS might overwrite the setting. Integrated Diskette Controller The Integrated Diskette Controller option is a simple toggle setting that enables or disables the diskette drive. When this option is disabled, the server cannot read from or write to the drive. Therefore, Diskette Write Control and Diskette Boot Control are irrelevant when Integrated Diskette Controller is disabled. NUMLOCK Power-On State The NUMLOCK Power-On State option is a simple toggle setting that enables or disables the power-up state of the NUMLOCK key. When the NUMLOCK key is enabled, the machine powers up with the NUMLOCK key active. System Options menu 161
