6.8 Identification labels The following labels are affixed to every drive: ! A label which is placed on the top of the head disk assembly containing the statement "Made by Hitachi" or equivalent, part number, EC number, and FRU number. ! A bar code label which is placed on the disk drive based on user request. The location on the disk drive is to be designated in the drawing provided by the user. ! Labels containing the vendor's name, disk drive model number, serial number, place of manufacture, and UL/CSA logos. ! The presence of labels containing jumper information depends on the customer. 6.9 Electromagnetic compatibility When installed in a suitable enclosure and exercised with a random accessing routine at maximum data rate, the drive meets the following worldwide electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements: ! United States Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Rules and Regulations (Class B), Part 15. RFI Suppression German National Requirements ! EU EMC Directive, Technical Requirements and Conformity Assessment Procedures 6.9.1 CE Mark The product is certified for compliance with EC directive 89/336/EEC. The EC marking for the certification appears on the drive. 6.9.2 C-Tick Mark The product complies with the Australian EMC standard "Limits and methods of measurement of radio disturbance characteristics of information technology equipment, AS/NZS 3548:1995 Class B."
