The setup program appears when you start the computer for the first time. The program will prompt you to make choices or type information as required. Notes: 1. If the setup program has already been run once, it will not appear when you start your computer. (If you need more detailed information, see your Windows NT Workstation manual.) 2. The setup program that appears when you start the computer is slightly different from the one that is described in your Windows NT Workstation manual. Some choices described in your Microsoft Windows NT Workstation manual do not appear because they are preset. 3. During the setup procedure, you must indicate that you accept the Microsoft Windows NT Workstation license agreement, and you might need to type in the Product ID number from your Certificate of Authenticity when prompted. The Certificate of Authenticity is attached to the cover of your Windows NT Workstation manual or to the computer. After the setup procedure is completed and the computer is restarted, when prompted, press Ctrl+Alt+Delete to display the logon window. After the logon procedure is completed, the Windows NT Workstation desktop appears. Using Access IBM Access IBM provides menus on your computer desktop where you can easily access programs and utilities for many of the common tasks that you might want to perform. The Access IBM menu on the desktop includes the following items: Start up Customize Get help View license and warranty You can perform a number of tasks using the Access IBM menus. You can register your computer with IBM, set up your hard disk partitions, install software, create a diagnostic diskette, back up your Windows NT Workstation configuration settings using ConfigSafe, diagnose problems, and recover software. You can also customize your desktop, read support information, view documentation, view the license and online warranty information, and link to IBM Web sites. 18 IntelliStation Z Pro User Guide
