Service Processor message FRU/action System shutoff due to CPU x over temperature 1. Verify that all fans are operating correctly 2. Verify that fan intake areas are clear and well-ventilated. 3. Verify that the heat sink is tightened correctly. 4. Remove old thermal grease and reapply new thermal grease to the heat sink. 5. Heat sink. 6. Fans. 7. Microprocessor. System shutoff due to high ambient temperature 1. Verify that the room temperature is within the required range. 2. Light Path panel card. Uncorrectable cache error detected. Removed failed components from active configuration. 1. Run diagnostic programs. 2. Failing component indicated by Light Path. 3. SMP Module. Uncorrectable memory error on bank J1 and J3 1. DIMM Notes: a. Failing DIMM latches will be illuminated. b. Failing memory bank will be disabled. After the failing DIMM has been replaced go into the Configuration/Setup Menu Advanced Options to re-enable the bank. 2. If failing DIMM latch is not illuminated, run memory diagnostic programs. 3. SMP Module. Uncorrectable memory error on bank J10 and J12 1. DIMM Notes: a. Failing DIMM latches will be illuminated. b. Failing memory bank will be disabled. After the failing DIMM has been replaced go into the Configuration/Setup Menu Advanced Options to re-enable the bank. 2. If failing DIMM latch is not illuminated, run memory diagnostic programs. 3. SMP Module. Uncorrectable memory error on bank J13 and J15 1. DIMM Notes: a. Failing DIMM latches will be illuminated. b. Failing memory bank will be disabled.
