Technical Reference 2.15.4 Product Ecology Statements The following information is provided to address worldwide product ecology concerns and regulations. 2.15.4.1 Disposal Considerations This product contains the following materials that may be regulated upon disposal: lead solder on the printed wiring board assembly. 2.15.4.2 Recycling Considerations Intel encourages its customers to recycle its products and their components (e.g., batteries, circuit boards, plastic enclosures, etc.) whenever possible. In the U.S., a list of recyclers in your area can be found at: http://www.eiae.org/ In the absence of a viable recycling option, products and their components must be disposed of in accordance with all applicable local environmental regulations. 2.15.5 Product Certification Markings (Board Level) Table 43 lists the board's product certification markings. Table 43. Product Certification Markings Description UL joint US/Canada Recognized Component mark. Includes adjacent UL file number for Intel Desktop Boards: E210882 (component side). FCC Declaration of Conformity logo mark for Class B equipment; includes Intel name and D848PMB model designation (component side). Marking CE mark. Declares compliance to European Union (EU) EMC directive (89/336/EEC) and Low Voltage directive (73/23/EEC) (component side). The CE mark should also be on the shipping container. Australian Communications Authority (ACA) C-Tick mark. Includes adjacent Intel supplier code number, N-232. The C-tick mark should also be on the shipping container.
