Chapter 1 - About the Computer Features About the Screen Backlight The computer has an ambient light sensor that automatically adjusts the brightness of the screen backlight to ensure that the screen is readable, while conserving power. By default, the screen turns off when there is no activity on the computer. To resume activity, press a key or tap the screen. You can configure the brightness and the timeout of the screen backlight. Configure the Screen Backlight Timeout Use the Start menu to configure the timeout for the screen backlight. The Power option settings shown below suspend the device after a specific amount of time.
