Correcting Text And Input Precautions - To erase all entered text, hold down the Back key. - To delete only part of the entered text, use the * or ) key to move the cursor (_) to the character that you want to delete, and then press the Back key. - If the same key is to be used to enter two characters in a row, press the ) key after selecting the first character.
