Sending a Fax to a Combination of Fax Numbers (Chain Dial) Multiple fax numbers can be combined to specify the recipients. This is called "chain dialing". For example, if the phone number and the extension number of a recipient are registered as different speed dial destinations, the fax number of the recipient can be specified by combining the two numbers. 1 Position the document to be faxed. 2 If desired, select the image quality. d For details, refer to "Selecting the Image Quality" on page 3-7. 3 Press the On hook key. 4 Directly type in the first number, or select it from the favorite list or speed dial destinations. d Refer to "Specifying a Recipient" on page 3-9. 5 Directly type in the second number, or select it from the favorite list or speed dial destinations. 6 Press the Start key to begin scanning and sending the fax. d To stop the transmission, press the Stop/Reset key. A message appears, requesting confirmation to cancel the setting. Select [YES], and then press the Select key. d If [FAX TX] in [ADMIN. MANAGEMENT]/[PASSWORD SETTING]/ [FULL FUNC. Numbers (Chain Dial)
Multiple fax numbers can be combined to specify the recipients. This is
called “chain dialing”.
For example, if the phone number and the extension number of a recipient
are registered as different speed dial destinations, the fax number of the
recipient can be specified by combining the two numbers.

Position the document to be faxed.

key.

Directly type in the first number, or select it from the favorite list or speed
dial destinations.

key to begin scanning and sending the fax.

To stop the transmission, press the
