If you have more computers than telephone-line wall connectors in a room, use a telephone splitter at the wall connector. Actual network transfer speeds depend on many factors, such as home wiring configuration, and are often less than the maximum possible. Some Internet service provider (ISP) accounts do not allow Internet sharing or they charge extra for it. Your ISP access agreement might require you to have more than one account.
