Replacing an UltraBay II Device Removing and Replacing Devices To remove a device from the UltraBay II, do the following: 1 If the device is a CD-ROM drive or DVD-ROM drive, remove any CD-ROM or DVD-ROM from it. If the device is a diskette drive, remove any diskette from it. 2 Power off the computer; then disconnect the AC Adapter and all cables from the computer. 3 Slide the right release latch to the right 1 . 4 Gently lift up the bay eject lever 2 and remove the device from the bay 3 . Removing and Replacing Devices
To remove a device from the UltraBay II, do the following:

If the device is a CD-ROM drive or DVD-ROM drive,
remove any CD-ROM or DVD-ROM from it.
If the device is a diskette drive, remove any diskette from
it.

Power off the computer; then disconnect the AC Adapter
