Order a maintenance kit, which contains all the items necessary to replace the pick rollers, the charge roll, the transfer roller, and the fuser. 88 Cartridge low The toner is low. Replace the toner cartridge, and then touch Continue to clear the message and continue printing. 88.yy Cartridge nearly low The toner is low. Replace the toner cartridge, and then touch Continue to clear the message and continue printing. 88.yy Replace cartridge The toner cartridge is empty. 1 Replace the toner cartridge. 2 Touch Continue to clear the message. 200-282.yy paper jam 1 Clear the paper path. 2 Touch Continue to continue printing. 283 Staple jam 1 Clear the jam from the specified stapler area(s). 2 Touch Continue to continue printing. 1565 Emulation error, load emulation option The printer automatically clears the message in 30 seconds and then disables the download emulator on the firmware card. To fix this, download the correct download emulator version from the Lexmark Web site at www.lexmark.com.
