Recording a TV program Recording and viewing the same TV program POWER EJECT OPEN/ CLOSE VCR/DVD 1 2 3 DISPLAY/CALL 4 5 6 INPUT SELECT/ PROGRESSIVE Preparation: • Turn ON the TV and set to the video input mode. • Press VCR/DVD to select the VCR mode. (The VCR indicator will light.) 1 Load a cassette tape with the erase prevention tab intact. The VCR will automatically turn on. 7890 TRACKING/ SET - CH SELECT/ ENTER TRACKING/ SET + CH SETUP/ DVD MENU VCR MENU CLEAR/ CANCEL RETURN MARKER ZOOM TOP MENU REPEAT A-B AUDIO/ JUMP/ ANGLE/ CLOCK/ AUDIO SELECT ZERO RETURN COUNTER RESET COUNTER TIMER REC SUB TITLE/ ATR PLAY MODE/ SPEED TV/VCR REW/SEARCH PLAY SEARCH/F.FWD INDEX/SKIP REC/OTR STOP SKIP/INDEX SLOW PAUSE/STILL 2 Press SPEED to select the desired tape speed SP or SLP. The tape counter and SP or SLP will appear on the screen for about 4 seconds. 00 : 00 : 00 SP 3 Set the TV/CATV option to the appropriate position (See page 20). TV - VHF/UHF channels CATV - CABLE TV channels 4 Press Number keys or CH / to select the channel to be recorded. 1-9 Press 0 twice and then 1-9 as required. Example: To select 2, Press "002". 10-12 Press 0 first and then the remaining 2 digits in order from left to right. Example: Press 012 for "12". 13-99 Press 2 digits in order. CH 110 Example: Press 22 for "22". 100-125 Press the 3 digits in order. Example: Press 110 for "110". Recording a TV program
Load a cassette tape with the erase
prevention tab intact.
The VCR will automatically turn on.
Set the TV/CATV option to the appropriate position (See page
20).
