Broadband ADSL2+ Modem DM111PSPv2 Hardware Features Before you cable your modem, take a moment to become familiar with the label and the front and back panels. Pay particular attention to the LEDs on the front panel. Label The label on the bottom of the modem shows the MAC address and serial number. Back Panel The back panel has the On/Off button and port connections as shown in the figure. 1 2 3 4 Figure 2. RJ-11 asynchronous DSL (ADSL) port for connecting the modem to a DSL line Note: An ADSL port is capable of sending data over a DSL line at one speed and receiving it at another speed. 2.
