Connecting the Wireless Router Follow the steps below to connect your router to your network. You can also refer to the Double 108 Mbps Wireless Router WGU624 Resource CD included with your router which contains an animated Installation Assistant to help you through this procedure. 1. CONNECT THE WIRELESS ROUTER, THE COMPUTER, AND THE MODEM. a. Turn off your computer and your cable or DSL modem. b. Locate the Ethernet cable (Cable 1 in the diagram below) that connects your PC to the modem. c. Disconnect the cable at the computer end only, point A in the diagram.
