3-7. Loading the Paper Roll Be sure to use paper roll that matches the printer's specification. 1 Push the cover open lever and open the printer cover. Cover open lever Paper roll 2 Set the paper roll in the direction as shown, and pull on the leading edge of the paper towards you. Tension bar Note: Make sure not to pass the paper under the tension bar. In the following condition, remove the tension bar unit and change the adjustment lever position in accordance with the procedures described in paragraphs 3-7-1 and 3-7-2: • Paper thickness between 100 μm and 150 μm, or paper width of 57.5 mm on the vertical/wall-mount layout Note: When using a paper roll with an 82.5 mm width, remove the paper roll holder in accordance with the procedure described in paragraph 3-7-3. 3 Push both sides as shown in order to close the printer cover. Note: When closing the printer cover, make sure both sides close firmly, not just one side. - 12 -

Loading the Paper Roll
Be sure to use paper roll that matches the printer’s specification.

Push the cover open lever and open the printer
cover.

Set the paper roll in the direction as shown, and pull
on the leading edge of the paper towards you.
Note:
Make sure not to pass the paper under the
tension bar. In the following condition,
remove the tension bar unit and change the
adjustment lever position in accordance with
the procedures described in paragraphs ³-¶-±
and ³-¶-²:
Paper thickness between 100 μm and 150
μm, or paper width of 57.5 mm on the
vertical/wall-mount layout
Note:
When using a paper roll with an ·².µ mm
width, remove the paper roll holder in ac-
cordance with the procedure described in
paragraph ³-¶-³.
