Serial You should configure the Serial Connection such as Port Number, Baud Rate, Parity, Data Bits & Flow Control according to your printer setting. You can print out your printer settings by clicking the 'Test Print' button. *1 Test Print can also be executed by holding down the printer's feed button while turning the printer on. *2 The ' Xon/Xoff ' option is not available within Flow Control settings for the Seral Port. Please set the DIP Switch to the 'DTR' option and choose the 'Hardware' option for Flow Control. Parallel Select the parallel port to which your printer is connected. 6. When you have finished your configuration, click the 'Done' button at the bottom right. You will then be asked to create a name for this new connection. 7. Click the 'Check' button to confirm the correct connection for your printer. When Using a Printer Driver: When you have set 'Connection Setting' to anything other than 'USB Printer Class' and want to use the printer driver, install it from Windows Printer Queue Management. Current Connection The current active printer connection is summarised in the Current Connection box. Your chosen printer model, emulation, interface type & port are displayed here (FIg.1-3). Use the Check link to confirm that the current connection with your printer is working. When the check is successful, a printed result will be printed out or an error message will be shown if the check failed. If the printed result is beyond recognition, please review your serial connection setting. When you click the 'change' link, the Printer Connection Wizard Window will be displayed.
