Print Settings You may preform a test print by clicking the 'Print Settings' button. The printer's current settings will be printed on this test print. Resetting all settings to their defaults If you want to restore your printer's settings to their defaults, click the 'Reset Defaults' button. Depending on the printer model that you are using, some settings may not have factory defaults. You must configure the settings using the 'Default Setting Wizard' that show when restoring to factory defaults. Exporting and importing settings This functionality allows you to save your current printer settings to a file, which you can then keep for future use with this same printer, apply to another printer, or distribute to other people. Click 'Export' to show the 'Save As' window. Specify the file name, and save the file as an XML File (.xml) or a Printer Data File (.prn). A XML settings file can be imported by clicking the 'Import' button, then browsing to the XML file. After importing is complete, the settings can be stored to the printer by clicking the 'Store' button. Printer data files (.prn) cannot be imported. These files must be sent directly to the printer without the use of the Printer Settings function. * If the model, emulation, and interface in the XML settings file do not match the current Connection Settings then the XML file cannot be imported. - 75 -

Resetting all settings to their defaults
