Detailed Usage Confirming and changing Printer Settings The printer settings function will use the connection settings selected earlier in the Printer Utility. The printer settings function will automatically load settings from printer when the function is first opened. If connecting to the printer fails then an error message will be displayed; if this happens please check your connection and press the Reload button to try again. You cannot store the settings to the printer until the printer settings function successfully reads the settings from the printer (ie, the store button will be disabled). After loading is finished, you can choose any option from a drop-down list to change a setting. Please read the following notes before changing any settings. • Select an option from the category list to only view items in that category. • Clicking on the name of a setting will cause a more detailed description of that setting to pop-up. • Some settings may be disabled. These settings can be enabled by changing related settings. Please refer to the Help pop-up for detailed information. • Some options may be disabled. These options can be enabled by changing related options. Storing the settings into your printer Click the 'Store' button to save the chosen options to the printer. When the settings are successfully saved to the printer, the printer will automatically reset. Reloading the settings from your printer If you want to discard your changes before saving to the printer then, click the 'Reload' button to reload the settings from the printer. If the settings failed to load the 'Store' button will be disabled. If this happens please check your connection a try again by pressing the 'Reload' button. - 74 -

Confirming and changing Printer Settings
The printer settings function will use the connection settings selected earlier in the Printer Utility. The
printer settings function will automatically load settings from printer when the function is first opened.
If connecting to the printer fails then an error message will be displayed; if this happens please check
your connection and press the Reload button to try again. You cannot store the settings to the printer
until the printer settings function successfully reads the settings from the printer (ie, the store button will

Storing the settings into your printer
Click the ‘
Store
’ button to save the chosen options to the printer.
When the settings are successfully saved to the printer, the printer will automatically reset.
 
Reloading the settings from your printer
If you want to discard your changes before saving to the printer then, click the ‘
Reload
’ button to reload
the settings from the printer.
If the settings failed to load the ‘

’ button will be disabled. If this happens please check your
connection a try again by pressing the ‘
Reload
’ button.
