Other connections 08 Switching components on and off using the 12 volt trigger You can connect a component in your system (such as a screen or projector) to this receiver so that it switches on or off using a 12 volt trigger when you select an input function. However, you must specify which input functions switch on the trigger using the The Input Setup menu on page 58. Note that this will only work with components that have a standby mode. 12V TRIGGER IN 1 DIGITAL OPTICAL MULTI-ROOM & SOURCE ROOM 2(ZONE 2) OUT IR IN ANTENNA OUT IN 2 OUT HDMI XM IN IN 1 (DVR/ VCR1) IN 2 (TV/SAT) IN 3 (CD) ASSIGNABLE 13 CONTROL OUT IN COMPONENT VIDEO Y PB PR IN 1 Y PB PR IN 2 Y PB PR Y PB PR ASSIGNABLE 1 3 RS-232C S-VIDEO iPod IN IN IN OUT IN VIDEO AM LOOP L OUT PRE OUT CENTER L L (Single) IN 3 R R SUB R SUR- SURROUND FRONT WOOFER ROUND BACK 12V TRIGGER (DC OUT 12 V / 50 mA MAX) OUT IN MONITOR MULTI-ROOM & SOURCE OUT MONITOR ROOM 2(ZONE 2) OUT R L • Connect the 12V TRIGGER jack of this receiver to the 12V trigger of another component. See The Input Setup menu on page 58 and Multi-Room and IR receiver setup on page 59 for detailed instructions. Note 1 The 3-ringed SR+ cable from Pioneer is commercially available under the part number ADE7095. Contact the Pioneer Customer Support division for more information on obtaining an SR+ cable (you can also use a commercially available 3-ringed mini phone plug for the connection). 2 This receiver is compatible with all SR+ equipped Pioneer plasma displays from 2003 onward. 55 En
