Section 9: Changing Your Settings This section explains the settings used for customizing your device. Accessing Settings 1. From a Home screen, touch Apps ➔ Settings. - or - From a Home screen, touch Menu ➔ Settings. - or - From any screen, touch the top of the screen and swipe downward, to display the Notifications panel, and then touch Settings. Settings Tabs The Settings are divided into 4 main groups. When the Settings screen displays, the following four tabs are located at the top of the screen: Connections: This tab allows you to see all settings related to the connection of your device to external sources, such as, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Nearby devices. My device My device: This tab provides access to device configuration and customization features, such as, Lock screen, Display, Sound, Power saving mode, and Accessibility. Accounts: This tab provides both the ability to create and modify your accounts (such as, Samsung account, Email, and Google account) and access Backup and reset features. More: This tab provides access to the remaining set of device settings not listed under the other three tabs, such as, Location services, Security, Application manager, and About device. Note: The settings for your device are described below in the order that they appear within the Settings menu.
