Side Views of Your Phone 12 3 7 4 6 5 1. 3.5mm Headset jack: Plug in jack for headphones. 2. Microphone: Used for noise cancellation and stereo recording. 3. Infrared Blaster: Used to emit infrared signals used for controlling external devices. 4. Power/Lock key: Used to power your phone on and off. Also used to lock or unlock the touch screen. For more information, refer to "Locking and Unlocking the Touch Screen" on page 11. 5. Power/Accessory Interface connector: Used to connect a Travel Charger or other optional accessories such as a USB/data cable or a hands-free headset for convenient, hands-free conversations. 6. Microphone: Allows other callers to hear you when you are speaking to them. It is also used for the Speakerphone. 7. Volume keys: Adjust the ringer volume while in standby mode or adjust the voice volume during a call. When receiving an incoming call, briefly press down either volume key to mute the ring tone.
