Gyroscope Calibration Gyroscope calibration allows you to calibrate motion correctly using the device's built-in gyroscope. 1. From the Motions and gestures screen, touch Gyroscope calibration. 2. Place your device on a flat surface. 3. Touch Calibrate. 4. When finished, Calibrated will appear on your screen. Touch Back to return to the previous screen. Smart Screen The Smart screen options allow you to customize your screen settings to make the screen more responsive and easier to use. 1. From the Settings screen, touch My device ➔ My device Smart screen. 2. To set the screen to stay on as long as you look at it, touch Smart stay to create a check mark and activate the feature. Air View The Air view feature shows helpful information when you hover your finger over the screen. For example, you can hover your finger over a scheduled item in your calendar to see more details. 1. From the Settings screen, touch My device ➔ My device Air view. 2. Touch the ON/OFF icon at the top of your screen to activate Air view. 3. Touch the ON/OFF icon to the right of each of the following options to turn the option on: • Information preview: Display information previews, extended text, and enlarged images when you hover your finger over the screen. • Progress preview: Preview a scene or show elapsed time when you hover your finger over the progress bar while watching a video. • Speed dial preview: Display the contacts and their speed dial numbers when you hover your finger over them in your contacts list. 164

Gyroscope Calibration
Gyroscope calibration allows you to calibrate motion
correctly using the device’s built-in gyroscope.

From the Motions and gestures screen, touch
Gyroscope calibration

2.
Place your device on a flat surface.
3.
Touch
Calibrate
.
4.
When finished,
Calibrated
will appear on your screen.
Touch
Back
to return to the previous screen.
