Playing Discs Playing Discs Resuming Playback from the Point Where You Stopped the Disc (Resume Play) When you stop the disc, the player remembers the point where you pressed x. As long as you do not remove the disc, Resume Play works even if the player is turned off. SHIFT NX x 1 While playing a disc, press x to stop playback. "Disc will restart from current point." appears on the screen and you can restart the disc from the point where you stopped the disc. If this message does not appear, Resume Play is not available. 2 Press NX. The player starts playback from the point where you stopped the disc in Step 1. Using the remote H x 1 Press x. 2 Press H. z To play from the beginning of the disc, while pressing SHIFT, press x when the player is stopped. You can play from the beginning also by opening the buckle and fasten again. Notes • Depending on where you stopped the disc, the player may not resume playback from exactly the same point. • The point where you stopped playing may be cleared when: - you disconnect the rechargeable battery or power cord. - you change the play mode. - you change the settings on the Setup Display. - you disconnect the AV output adaptor and connect it again. 25
