Off Does not perform a demonstration. Select this setting when shooting using the Smile Shutter. View a demonstration 1 Lower the lens cover to switch to shooting mode. 2 (REC Mode) t (Auto Adjustment) t 3 Point the camera at the subject. Scene Recognition When Scene Recognition is performed, the icon and a description of the recognized scene appear on the screen. When the shutter button is pressed, the image is recorded. Smile Shutter Touch (Smile icon). The camera automatically operates the shutter when a smiling face is detected, but no image is recorded. When (Smile icon) is touched again, operation returns to the demonstration of Scene Recognition. Notes • Auto review is fixed to [On]. • When (screen display) is set to [Normal], some of the icons are not displayed on the LCD screen. • When demonstrating the Scene Recognition mode, the setting is fixed to [Advanced] (page 79).
